In addition to my work with The Carpentries, I am/have been involved in:
- OLS (formerly Open Life Science), where I am a sometime Mentor and Expert, and generally hang around trying to be helpful.
- The Research Software Engineers community, both in Germany and in the UK.
- The Turing Way – an open source handbook to reproducible, ethical and collaborative data science.
- Heidelberg Unseminars in Bioinformatics – alternative format meetings for anyone interested in bioinformatics and related areas. (No longer active.)
